Souvenir's p.o.v. Fate really has a dark sense of humor, isn't it? I asked my dead wolf, not hoping for any answer I moved on, and lit my cigarette instead. This poisonous smoke had stopped working for a very long time now, but still, I smoked. It's a habit, just like talking to my wolf who is not even alive inside of me anymore. Or this new habit of mine, watching Evelyn from the small broken window of this attic. She is really turning me into a creep. It's been almost a month since she is living here. It's easier now, standing here, watching her like this...waiting for sunset, because that's the time she came out in the courtyard with Dimitri and Drakon, to play with their wolves as if they were some mere domestic dogs, not some lethal wild animals.
