Evelyn's p.o.v. Before I could turn around and see the warm presence that's been haunting me— it came out on its own—from inside of me. I watched with big eyes as the black fog shrouded my cold body, that firey burning essence slicing my tongue with its taste. Dark haze, so dense that it's impossible for me to understand that I'm inside the smoke or the smoke is inside of me. Or if we are one and the same.
