My body froze as I watched that grey-eyed wolf jump...and then my back hit the hard floor, a heavy body above me, and the sound of hefty breaths echoed around me.
I closed my eyes tightly, scared to feel those sharp teeth ripping my flesh apart...but instead, I felt a cold tongue, all over my face, licking my nose, cheeks, forehead...lips, everything that it could reach.
I slowly opened one eye, and then the other...peeking up at the black furry wolf kind of dog. He nuzzled his ears on my neck, it's ticklish!
I took a deep breath of relief, there is no way it was a wolf. If it would, I would have died by now.
