I could hear the low sound of the big clock hanging motionlessly on the wall...tic-toc, tic-toc...tic-toc. It's been silent for a while now. I did try to ask them again about that unknown person they'd been talking about. His name was something like Souvenir I guess, they were muttering so low that I couldn't hear them clearly. And maybe that's what they wanted.
Uh, I don't like secrets.
" You can go but on one condition.", Silas said after a long moment, his stern gaze meeting my keen ones, " If you feel that you are in danger..."
" I'll call you.", I completed his sentence, standing up in excitement. " You all are on my emergency contact list." I showed him my phone and looked at Drakon, " And Drakon can always go inside my mind and check what I'm feeling..."
