Past and present collides

(This was a result of a prompt challenge ).
The old house stood dilapidated and full of memories.
Memories I can't let out,memories I choose to ignore,memories tattooed in my brain, memories that made me this way. Looking at the building once more I saw its faint smile,silently mocking me, gently testing my patience.
Isn't it funny, it's present situation shows the past of the girl who once lived there, broken,scarred,rendered useless. She had thought she will be forever stuck in that building with no way of escaping,thinking the only way out is 6ft beneath.
Here she is once again at the front of the old house reminiscing over something she choose to cover,but till when?
She asked no one in particular.
