Chapter 1“Luke, trust us on this. You are not making an effort.” Gina squeezed my upper arm. I squirmed out of her touch.
“We have planned this intervention to get you out of your condo and give you a chance to meet some eligible men.” Rita glared at me like she did everyone. Tough love was Rita’s M.O. I wasn’t surprised she was a ringleader of this little enterprise.
Before I could answer them, the third of Luke’s Trio spoke. As usual, I had to lean in to hear her. Tina was the tiniest of them and the drabbest. Gina the Giant and Rita the Red-headed Vixen usually overshadowed and overpowered Tina.
