Chapter 4The debrief after the gallery opening date turned into an apology and weep fest. My Trio was gutted by the previous three dates. “We’ve set you back,” wailed Gina. Before I could reply and soothe her, Rita, who never cries, looked ready to burst into tears. Tina, who always cries whether she’s happy, sad, or in between, was already sobbing. We were sitting on my couch, one on either side of me and Gina at my feet. My left shoulder was already wet from Tina’s tears. My right shoulder was getting there from Rita’s sudden outburst.
