  Epilogue Two Years Later The doorbell rang. Damn. I was at the exciting ending of my book. “Hon! Can you get the door?” I yelled, hoping he wasn’t caught up in something equally compelling. “Sure thing. Where are you? Have you gotten to the—” “Don’t tell me the ending! Answer the door. Please!” As he walked to the front door, he added, “Okay. But I’m telling you, you’re going to love it.” When he opened the door, I knew my reading was over for the night. Gina, Tina, Rita, Big Al, and Bert were there, shouting and bearing gifts. I sat up from the couch to watch Gina put two six packs on the coffee table.
