"What are you doing?" Sharon asked when she saw Clara in the kitchen.
"Baking cake for Paxton and Alina" She is hell-excited about seeing her sister and brother. If it costs her to meet that old lady, so be it.
"It smells great" Sharon, for the first time, complimented Clara on something. Clara smiled in response.
"I guess they are here". Sharon left to welcome the guests and Clara hastily decorated her cake.
"Thanks for coming," Frank greeted them with a warm smile.
"It's our pleasure. We were missing Clara too." Elena spoke as she grabbed Clara's hands with so much love. For the first time, Clara felt a little less intimidated by Elena. Maybe she is getting a little brave living with Alex. Even that locked room incident seemed to have less effect on her.
