Unknown attraction

"We are glad to finally be a part of your family", Ron spoke with so much happiness. Of course, to have a family relationship with Fernandez is a blessing. They are wonderful people in addition to being number one in business. "Don't feel burdened as I am helping you in your new branch restaurant. It's purely business that I plan to invest in there. Don't ever think that we are proposing this marriage for business". Frank wanted to be clear about this. They liked Ron's family a lot. Being at the top, they managed to raise beautiful children. Frank loved Clara Alina and Elsa. So when Grace was sad that Clara refused the proposal, she proposes happily when Ron proposed to Elsa and Alex. "This is our family tradition." Grace Fernandez, mother of Frank, eyed Alex to make the bride wear the pearl set. Alex took the pearl necklace and that's when he raised his eyes to look at his bride. He walked to them and knew that Alina was not the girl they were proposing to him. But not sure of his bride. Shouldn't he pay attention to them when they talked about his marriage? He felt so stupid even not to identify his to-be wife when they were about to engage the next day. He looked at Elsa. She is an absolute beauty. There is no way anyone would fall for her. Her smile and twinkling eyes attracted almost everyone in the hall. Her smooth skin radiates her glow. He turned to Clara, and she was already staring at him. He had never seen such a girl in his life. She looked like an angel with no wings for sure. Alex never admired any girl after his poor breakup. Clara's dominance was clear in her mannerisms. Her don't care look attracted him the most. There is no word to describe her beautiful skin, which had no makeup at all. His eyes fell on the locket on her neck. It was the same stylish C with S initials. Is she the same girl who was writing that blog? They both had long eyes locked as the hall fell into silence. Alex thought he could calculate that Elsa must be his bride, because of her cheerful mood and because of Clara's uninterested look, his legs took him to Clara's side involuntarily. Clara widened her eyes, and he could hear gasps around him and that's when he came back to reality as he stopped there. Damn, should he be so obvious? And wait a minute, is she the one who rejected him? Alex felt furious with her for rejecting him. That blog thing made him more furious now. She is not that special. That blog is bullshit. He was reciting the same in his mind. "Can you help me with making your sister wear this?" Alex always manages to shine in everything. But Clara is a smart lady. Clara gently lifted Elsa's hair as Alex made her wear it, but both were looking at each other, whereas Elsa was just happy with the pearl necklace alone. "Why did I feel that he was putting that necklace on your neck?" Alina whispered with a giggle, as Clara too felt the same way. Elsa silently left for her room to cherish the moment. "Let's have the engagement tomorrow. And we can have a wedding in a week. We don't want to delay them." Grace asked them, as Ron was too happy for a reason. He already wanted to propose this. "It would be our pleasure," Ron replied, and everyone left the place. **** Engagement day Alex was so pissed off by Elsa's clingy nature. She always finds an opportunity to touch him or be sweet to him. "I am not going to entertain you. This is me. And if you have any problems, back off from this marriage. I am doing this marriage only for my family. Don't expect anything from my side." Alex snapped at Elsa, who had not paid any attention to his words at all, as she was just amazingly staring at his eyes. As for Alex, he knew that he was spoiling a girl's life by this, but he had been honest since day one and Elsa had no problem with it. "You can stay like this forever. But you can't stop me from loving you." Elsa said with, shy filled tone. Alex sighed tiredly, but his eyes locked in the corner where he saw a silhouette. Someone is there in their room, hearing their conversation. Who that might be? "I need to take this call. Let's meet on the stage." Elsa said and left the room, while Alex walked towards the curtain slowly. "Who?" Before he could ask his full question, Clara went outside and went as she saw him coming to her side. "I came here to get ready. I didn't see you both." Clara stuttered like an i***t while Alex looked at her from head to toe. It was her sister's engagement and this girl wore a simple dress with plain make-up and no excitement at all. "I should get going." Clara said in a hurry, and started walking. Her legs tangled with the mat as she fell flat on his arms with no warning. "Why are you so nervous?" Alex couldn't help but ask her the question. "No. I mean." Clara stuttered again. Damn, she was so flushed when Elsa was all trying to kiss Alex earlier and after that, Alex's words also made her nervous. Alex is marrying her just for his family. "I heard your talk with Elsa," Clara confessed. "Do you think I care?" Alex asked with a scoff as she looked at him sharply. The nerve of this guy. "Guys, let's go. They are waiting for you." Rose grabbed Alex at the right time as they both left the place. Clara heard their claps, showing that they were both engaged now. No one even noticed her absence. ******* Marriage day: A café where she meets Jason often. "Are you not attending the function?" Jason asked, keeping the milkshake on the table. "No one would even notice my absence" Clara replied with a blank expression. She didn't wait a second to gulp down the full glass in one go. Jason is a sweetheart. He brought another milkshake. The first glass was for her hunger. Now she might relish the taste. "That's why I am telling you. Just run away with me. We shall have a beautiful life." Jason winked at her as she made a chuckle. His flirts are the only thing that makes her alive in this busy life. She sipped the cold milkshake and it soothed her burned tongue. Damn that old woman. She worked hard to hurt her this time. "Let's open a club and make an announcement that whoever makes your grandma cry, they will get a free entry pass". Jason got serious all of a sudden. He just couldn't digest the fact that she was being bullied by them to this extreme. He can even save her against Taylors. "Is it hurting?" he asked, cupping her cheeks suddenly as she got alarmed. His eyes held concern. "What? Why?" she asked, trying to sound confident. But Jason could see through her easily. "She must have added something to your food again," Jason stated with a sad tone. He didn't like why the hell she had to live with them even after she was 20. She has an independent job and is even capable of doing more. But she is so adamant about not leaving the home. "Omg. Your dad messaged me", Jason spoke as Clara's eyes twinkled with hope. Even though she hates her dad like hell, she gets a little emotional if he notices her absence. After all, she is a normal human being with a soft heart full of yearning for love. "He asked me to get you to the church," Jason said, and Clara stood up to leave. "Are you going? I don't think he is asking you out of love. It must be to show his guests. He can't say that his daughter is not there at his other daughter's wedding." Jason stated the obvious. But Clara didn't want to argue. She wouldn't like to insult her dad in front of people. Whatever may be, she will be like her mom. Dignified and well-mannered. Clara and Jason entered the church and no wonder that it was flashed on every news channel. It is not like a church in any way. It looked like a paradise glittering everywhere. "It must be your wedding only if you don't deny them". Jason felt sad for his friend. But Clara smiled at him. "Marriage is nothing but betrayal. I won't fall into this trap ever in my life." She replied as she walked towards the left side room "If you ever want to marry anyone, remember me. I will be there", Jason winked at her as she laughed softly. This guy always helps her to lighten her mood. He is a full package. ***** "We didn't force you, right?" Rose asked, feeling guilty all of a sudden. "Just remember your promise. Better be ready to marry someone I choose," Alex replied with a warning. He was doing this just for Rose and wanted her to have a blessed life. The arrangement did make him suffocate. Why does this have to be the same as last time? His hand started trembling slightly. The great Alexandar Fernandez was scared for some reason and no one could see his fear. "Boss, Sana is not here." Mac's voice was so real and Alex turned to see the same audience from that day. Their slight laughter filled his ears as his eyes shifted to his dad who was on the verge of breaking down. He could see Rose on the floor as she was crying, closing her face. What the hell happened all of a sudden? Slowly, everything disappeared as Alex found himself standing there waiting for his bride, Elsa. The past is always painful, and it can never be forgotten easily. Now everything is fine and nothing will be like before. That's what Alex was chanting to himself. He saw Clara entering the room. Unknown irritation was filled for this girl. She has some annoying expressions all the time. "Boss, Madame Elsa is not there" Alex turned to his secretary, Mac, who had just delivered the message. That can't happen for the second time. Before he could get the news into his mind, his eyes widened in shock at seeing a person in the front row. "Sandy Williams is here?" someone screamed as they all circled Sandy to take pictures and have a talk with him. Sandy was glaring at Alex. Alex turned to Mac and decided one thing. That today he won't leave the church without marrying.
