Chapter 6That night Jacob and I had another Family Night using the rest of the weed Kenzie had given me before.
“You can’t stop us from having a good time!” Jacob said with a laugh.
“What else have you tried besides alcohol and weed?” I asked. “I’ve tried pain pills, Xanax, and beer.”
“Damn, I didn’t know you’d tried that much,” he said. “I’ve tried beer, whiskey, Xanax, weed, OxyContin, and Adderall.”
I didn’t know what some of that stuff was, but let it go.
“What I really want to try is acid,” he said. “Have you heard about it?”
“Just in the classes where they tell you don’t do drugs,” I said.
“It makes you trip,” he said. “You see things. Sometimes you can hear colors and see sounds. It’s crazy.”
I thought it sounded both scary and exciting. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try that
