Chapter 9The next morning I woke up and looked at my phone. It was almost dead, and it was seven A.M. “s**t!” I said, jumping up. “I’ve got school!” Morgan stirred on the couch. “I can take you,” she mumbled. “I have to stop by my house first and change clothes,” I said frantically. How could I have forgotten? I was so tired, but Morgan drove me home and I changed, ignoring the ranting lecture by my mom who was getting ready for work, and ran back out the door.
