After about an hour I heard the door unlock and my heart jumped in my chest. I didn’t know what to do. Should I go out to meet her? Should I wait for her to come to me? I just lay sprawled on the bed in a stupor. I heard Morgan brush her teeth, and eventually she came into the room. There was a rustling of her clothes as she changed. Finally she lay on the bed, wrapping both arms around me, and I turned to look at her.
