Chapter 15I didn’t end up hanging out with Morgan that night. I felt guilty and decided to go to Kenzie’s. I told my mom I was going out, but, just like her, I didn’t say where or how long I’d be gone. Once Morgan left I showered, changed clothes, and waited for Kenzie to get home from school. Jacob was at work, so we walked to the diner and said hi to him and got something to eat. Kenzie filled out an application to be a waitress. “I’ll have my car soon, and we won’t have to walk so much all the time,” she said as we made our way back to her house hand in hand. “We could go to Potterstown and go on dates,” I said. “And we could party with my friends there,” she said.
