Chapter 5After lunch on the beach, Radhi sipped the strong coffee Oscar had brewed for him. The drink washed down the last delicious bite of the hamburger. Oscar cooked the meat just like Radhi liked it, crispy-brown around the edges and juicy-pink inside. Radhi picked up the percolator from the charcoal grill and topped off his cup. “Who’s Arrow?” Oscar washed the dishes in the lake and didn’t look up. “He’s in the first book.” “Send me that one.” Radhi wondered how long it was. He hesitated biting off more than he could chew. With no response from Oscar, maybe best he let it lie, but Radhi couldn’t resist. “Shouldn’t I read them in order?” “No, both books stand alone.” Oscar shook the water off the dishes and set them on a flat rock.
