Early that next morning, Aria shot up out of her sleep with a horrible sense of dread. She couldn't explain what she was feeling, but she just knew something bad was going to happen. Trying to recall the dream she had before waking up, she couldn't remember a single moment. Once she settled herself down and trampled down the bad feeling (she didn’t want Liam feeling her apprehension through their connection), she got out of bed to begin preparing for breakfast with the elders.
Exiting the bathroom, Aria found Liam sitting on the balcony off their suite, talking on his cell. It was clear by the conversation that he was speaking to Jackson. When he saw her, he told Jackson goodbye and disconnected.
