Ryder's POV. The fireplace crackled in the spacious sitting room of our family’s home at the Darkmoon pack. The warmth from the flames bounced off the stone walls, showing glow across our mother’s face as she settled into her seat, a regal presence of calmness and poise. Our father, broad-shouldered and stern, sat at the head of the room, his dark eyes fixed on each of us as we gathered around. Axel, Kade and I hadn’t been home in weeks, but the air of the room reminded me of just how much we belonged here, in the place where our names actually meant something.
