Nolan walked closely beside me as we moved out onto the streets where the party was in full swing.
I could hardly hear myself think, the crowd and music were so loud.
I saw couples hugging, while others cheered their returning soldiers. Children were running around with sparklers, laughing and eating.
The smells of the food were incredibly appetizing and if I hadn't just eaten, I'd be straight over to one of those food stalls.
"This way, your grace," Nolan gestured to a carriage.
"Can't we walk?" I asked him, but he shook his head.
"It's to far away, we'd be walking for an hour, maybe longer through this crowd," He told me, "But there is an underground road specifically for the royals and energy services that we can use."
