Chapter Twenty Six

1951 Words
The pack house was quiet, it would’ve been too quiet if I didn’t know better. But everyone was out training or meeting together to get ready for whatever Lip was planning. Since my shoulder was still tender I didn’t want to push myself. Which meant I was napping instead of training. I felt the bed dip down behind me, my eyes still closed as hands grabbed my hips. I let out a small moan as I felt pressure between my legs. I leaned my body back against the one behind me, my legs falling open for him. “Mmhm.” I was caught in that state between dreaming and reality. Not quiet sure if this was real or just a very vivid dream. “Lip.” I felt his laugh vibrate through his chest and into my back. His mouth skimmed my neck, hitting that damn sensitive spot as he pushed a finger inside me. “Oh.” My hips bucked as he slid another one inside and started to move his hand lazy against me. It didn’t take long for the coil to tighten in my stomach. I had already been close, dreaming about him touching me. “Faster.” I kept my eyes closed as he picked up the pace. My hands fisted the blankets as he moved steadily inside me. I gasped and then all at once I fell apart. My body shook as he kept moving his hand, his lips never leaving my neck. I opened my eyes as I came back into myself. “Well that was certainly one way to wake up.” Lip laughed again. “I missed you.” He pushed his leg between mine, pushing my underwear off. Then before I could turn around to see him, he pushed himself inside me. I gasped, my back arching against him. I was already sensitive from his hand. “Lip.” He moved slowly as my body relaxed against him. “Mmhm. I missed you too.” His hand came around and pushed under his shirt. His fingers skimmed my breast, his thumb running over my n****e. He kissed the back of my neck. Then his hand moved back between my legs, pressing against me. “Lip. I can’t hold on much longer.” He laughed against my skin, his hand stopped moving and I felt him take in a breath. “I love you. So much.” I opened my mouth to say I loved him too, but all that fell out was a moan. Because just as he grabbed my hips to keep me still as he thrust inside me, his teeth pierced my skin. I fell apart as he kept moving, biting down on my marking spot. I came hard, harder than I ever had before. I was panting by the time he slowed down his rhythm and let got of my neck. I felt his tongue sweep over the mark and sealing it, forever claiming me as his. I was wide awake now. I pulled away from him, he wasn’t finished yet. But I turned around, pushing against his chest. “Wow.” He laughed. “You’re mine.” He touched my cheek as I laid him down on his back and climbed on top. We both moaned happily as I lowered myself back onto him. “Mmhm. Yours.” I leaned down and kissed his neck in the same spot he had just marked me. He body jerked against mine, causing me to shiver, another o****m already building inside me. “And you’re mine.” I whispered. Then before I knew what exactly I was doing I felt my teeth sharpen. I bit down on his skin, breaking it as he fell apart inside me. He made the sexiest noises I had ever heard as I fell apart for the third time. “Max.” He said my name as I let go of him, running my tongue over his mark the way he had mine. When I pulled back, sliding down onto the bed beside him, he was staring at me with wide eyes. He touched his neck, his eyes on mine. “How?” “I don’t know. I just felt you, and I knew I had to claim you as mine too. I love you. I can feel how much you love me now.” I kissed his lips gently. “I’m not afraid of this, of us anymore.” He smiled. “I love you too. I wanted it to be more romantic, but after all the planning today when I saw you in my bed, I just needed to know I could keep you safe.” “It was perfect.” I whispered, rubbing my nose against his. He smiled despite how tired he looked. I touched his cheek. “You should get some sleep. You’ve been working too hard lately. The pack will be fine for a few hours training on their own.” He sighed. “I know. Will you stay with me?” I snuggled into his side, feeling the effects of his mark and his skin touching mine. “You don’t ever have to ask me twice. Sleep, my love. I’m not going anywhere.” Lip closed his eyes. “That’s my line.” I kissed his cheek and listened to his breathing slowly even out. For once since we had found each other I wasn’t afraid of the danger that lie ahead. Because he was officially mine and I would forever belong to him. No matter what Andrew thought he could do, he couldn’t break the bond we shared. —— Lip slept for less than two hours. I laid with him the whole time, watching for any restlessness. He seemed peaceful laying in my arms, my fingers running over his scalp gently. It was nice, knowing I could have a calming effect on him the way he had on me. As he slept I looked down at my neck, seeing the edge of his mark. I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and awe in knowing that everyone who looked at my mark would know it came from an alpha. Maybe it was my emotions combined with Lip’s but I felt so different than I had when I first learned about our bond. Lip’s shirt, which had become my staple sleepwear, bunched up at my waist. I sighed, trying to adjust myself as Lip woke up. “I didn’t wake you did I?” I kept my voice low in case he just stirred and would fall back asleep. He sighed and shook his head. “No. I set an alarm.” He pulled his phone out and it was vibrating. “Did you hold me the whole time?” I smiled. “You would’ve done the same for me. Don’t worry my shoulder feels completely healed now. I think it’s the magical power of this bite mark on my neck.” Lip sat up quickly and tickled my waist. I laughed loudly, squealing as he turned and kept tickling me, forcing me down onto the bed. He hovered over me now, leaning in to kiss me as I tried to catch my breath. “You have no idea how much I love seeing my mark on you.” He whispered as he skimmed his nose across my cheek. Then he pressed a kiss against said mark and I gasped at how incredibly more sensitive it was now. I pulled back before things could get heated again. “Did you get enough sleep? Because you still look tired.” He sighed, pulling me back up as he leaned against the headboard. He pulled my legs up over his lap and rubbed them gently. “No. But i can’t sleep the whole day away. Jack and I still haven’t figured out what to do about Andrew and this threat.” I ran my fingers across his scalp and he growled at the sensation. “I should go check on Sarah.” Lip yawned. “I’ll come with you. I saw her yesterday but I’ve been so busy I haven’t gotten back over there.” It had been three days since the last attack and Sarah still hasn’t woken up. The swelling in her brain had gone down but they still weren’t sure if she’d remember everything when she woke up. They did say she would wake up. It was just a matter of when now. I went to our closet and grabbed some clothes, getting dressed quickly. I threw my hair up in a bun as Lip came out of the bathroom and sighed. “Do you want me to talk to Travis? See what he knows about my father’s plans? I mean, he seemed genuinely surprised when i told him about Andrew taking me.” Lip scratched his chin. “Let me think about it. I know you trust Travis, but with everything that’s happened I’m trying to be extra caution. Especially when it comes to you.” He grabbed me and pulled me into his chest. I smiled as he kissed the top of my head. “I know. And I love you for it.” “That’s the only reason you love me?” He asked pulling back and looking into my eyes. I laughed. “Among other things.” I whispered as he leaned down to kiss me. I stepped back and laced my fingers through his. “Let’s go see your sister.” He nodded. “Then I have to go talk to Jack.” “What does Jack want to do?” “Ambush Andrew in the middle of the night. I think it’s reckless, but he thinks we’ll have the advantage. We have more warriors than Andrew, but that’s if we took everyone with us. There’d be no one here to protect the children.” “I could get Travis to round up some hunters. We could have them stay here. Watch over the pack house. I could also stay…” I winced. “To make sure they stayed safe.” Lip looked surprised. “You think there’s hunters who want to be on our side?” I nodded. “There’s some who are open minded like me and Travis. We could get a handful. I don’t want to stay while you go fight, but I will. If it means we protect our pack.” Lip kissed me, his hand cupping my cheek. “I know I already told you this multiple times today. But I am so incredibly in love with you, Max Calloway.” I laughed. “Well lucky for you sweetheart, I’m in love with you too.” He sighed. “Let me talk to Jack. Let’s go see my sister and then we can contact Travis. I’d rather do it in person, but you aren’t going to see him alone.” I rolled my eyes and followed him out of our suite. I knew he was being overly protective because of everything that had happened. But I trust Travis. I knew he had nothing to do with Andrew’s plan to kidnap me, he had nothing to do with my father’s obsession on getting Lip’s head. Still I wouldn’t fight him on escorting me to meeting Travis. Because he had agreed to my plan. Well once he spoke to Jack, he’d agree to my plan. I had a feeling it had to do with the fact that I offered to stay behind and watch over our pack. Either way I’d be fighting on his side, which meant at the end of the day is everything I knew he wanted.
