Ember woke the following morning. Artemis had already left the room, the staff was bustling about the castle, no doubt busy with preparations for the afternoon’s event. She was about to slide out of bed, when the door suddenly opened and Athena came strolling in, a tray in her hands. “Oh, you’re already awake. I’ve brought breakfast. You like French toast right?” She asked, Ember rubbed her eyes, trying to wake herself up. Athena offered the tray to her, that Ember took graciously. “I’ll let you eat, then we should start getting you ready. It’s a big day, after all. My brother is discussing some things with father, and your brother. I’ll be back in a couple of hours.” Athena stated and left the room.
