Ember woke the next morning to an empty room. She looked for signs of Artemis, but she seemed to be on her own. She moved the blankets away and moved to stand onto her feet. Today was the day before the Alpha naming ceremony. She was sure that Artemis had a lot of things to see to with his preparations for his big day.
Ember made it into the bathroom and stripped down. She stepped into the shower and turned the water on. She took her time getting cleaned up.
