Chapter 25 Nine months later… “I don’t think I can do this much longer,” Venice groaned as another wave of contractions hit her. She reached out and clutched onto the bedrail as she tried to ooze the intense back pain by moving her hips sideways as the obstetrician had instructed earlier. “You’re doing great honey,” Max soothed as he pushed back the hair from her face. She cried out in pain; breathing rapidly through her mouth as her uterus contracted once more. “It’s so painful,” she moaned before slumping over him in exhaustion.
