CHAPTER SIX
Kathy showed up as scheduled at nine a.m. the next morning. As soon as she stepped across the threshold, she beamed and turned to Karli.
“Karli,” she said, “we are not going to have any problems at all finding you stable renters, I can feel it.”
Karli’s shoulders sagged in relief. “That’s so good to hear. How quickly would we be able to list it? And do I need to be out of here first?”
“Whenever you’re ready, we post it,” came the answer. “And yes, it’s been my experience that empty places tend to rent more quickly. People are more easily able to imagine their own belongings in the space.”
“And then what?”
