Kian’s POV
I woke up to what felt like a trance, but this time in my wolf form. I was in an unfamiliar forest. The trees looked alive, the sky was neither blue nor black and it was hard to tell whether it was day or night.
“Kai, what's happening?” I called out to my wolf. “Is this another side effect of the blood bond ritual?”
“No Kian, we've been summoned,” Kai answered, leaving me more confused.
“Summoned? By who?”
“I think it's–” Kai stopped mid sentence, and before I could make sense of anything Kai sprinted with so much ferocity that if I hadn't known better or couldn't feel what he was feeling I'd think we were under attack or something.
