“Hello Tracy,” Kyle smiled like nothing was wrong, like I wasn’t just kidnapped or like he wasn't supposed to be in Black Shadow Pack like the rest of the trainees. “Good to see you're finally awake.”
He strode over leisurely to where I was.
I parted my lips to say something but I just couldn't form words. The Kyle before me looked…different. He was nothing like the man I've known for the past weeks back at Black Shadow Pack. Even his aura was different. He looked every bit of an Alpha and not the timid, bullied man I've known.
If I hadn't seen him myself, I'd have sworn it was a different person…probably someone with a striking resemblance to Kyle. But no, this was Kyle, even though he didn't look timid, his eyes still had that same twinkle whenever he spoke.
