Tracy's POV
Lin and I both turned around to see Rex, in a well tailored suit, and a bright smile on his face. I must say this is the most genuine smile I've ever seen on him, every other one screams sarcasm.
“Hi Rex,” I said flatly, and Rex just smiled.
“Hello Rex,” Lin said, Rex's eyes stayed a minute or two longer on Lin.
“You look exceptionally gorgeous, Lin,” he complimented, offering his arms.
“Thank you,” she responded, smiling from ear to ear, as she slid her arms in his, and they both walked away.
Just as I took a step forward, the straps on my heels loosened. Lin stopped, but I gave her a thumbs up to go ahead, so she nodded and did.
I was tying the straps of my heels the best way I could when I heard my name.
“Tracy.”
