For a moment, I forgot what I needed to discuss with him, forgot Shane, forgot the note, and I just admired the powerful muscles on his back, every detail on display under the moonlight, his hair a tousled mess from sleep. Biting my lip, I can’t help but fidget as I make my way to him. I continue to the bed each step harder, heavier. I place the letter on the bedside table before I turn to face him.
