Chapter six

Alpha john's pov

''But what tell me now'' i told the doctor. I am so worried. I still feel like s**t for what i did and did not do to her. I should have accepted her for who she is. Of course he is strong if she has endured all this pain on her own all these years, what was i thinking?

''Alpha John like i said the surgery was a success, but she has apparently slipped into a coma. We don't know when or if she will wake up. Her injuries were suvire and she lots more than half her blood. It will take awhile for her body to make that blood again. It's either she pulled out of the coma on her own or im afraid shes won't wake up at all.'' Doctor Lockwood said. '' Is it possible to transfer her to another hospital because i want to take her home with me?'' i asked hoping that she will be able to. '' I believe we can transfer her in two days if that's okay with you?'' he said. '' Yes, that's fine. Thank you Doctor.'' i said.'' My pleasure Alpha'' he said as he left her room.

I left the hospital to go and tell my pack members to to start packing because we're leaving in two days. With that said i head to go and pack, after i was done i left my room to go to Martha's room. When i found her room i was appalled because i found out it was not a room at all it was just a small attic with a bed, toilet,, shower, desk, and a small bookcase. I saw a small bag in the conner and grabbed it, then went over to the dresser to put her clothes in it. When i opened it there was barely any clothes in it and they all looked like hand me downs from some of the elders or something because they were all jagged and torn and looked really worn down. I stuffed them in the bag along with the books she had. Once i was done i took her bag to my room and sat it down by my bag. Once i was threw packing both of our belongings i headed back to the pack hospital.

When i got to Martha's room there was only one word to describe it as CAIOUSE. Doctor lockwood noticed me right as i got into the room. He said '' Alpha i'm sorry you can't be in here right now.'' '' Why what the hell is happening?'' i asked with fear coating my voice. '' Alpha her heart stopped for two minutes and her heart keeps stopping so were putting her on life support. I'm sorry but you need to leave.'' he said while pushing me outside the room.

I haven't been able to see Martha for five days now now. We were supposed to leave three days ago but we couldn't leave her here. I was about to leave ,but stopped when i saw the doctor walking towards me. I stopped and look at him with worry spread out on my face. '' Alpha we have taken her off life support, she is now able to breath on her own. You will be able to leave with her tomorrow morning if you would like.'' he said with relief on his face. '' Yes, thank you again. How are we going to take her with us?'' i asked wondering because we can just drive her that would be dangerous ''Well she will be transferred by chopper" he said.

The next morning

As my pack members loaded up the vehicles I went to go and make sure that everything was going well with the chopper that is going to transfer Martha to mypack hospital. When I got to her room the nurses were prepping her for the journey. Doctor Lockwood came in and said " It's time to put her on the gurney and roll her into the copper. Alpha will you be riding along with her, me, and a nurse in the chopper?" he asked. " Yes, I will be coming. I will be back in a few minutes." I said as I left the room to mind link my pack. "Guys I will be going in the chopper. Go ahead and leave if you have any problems link me immediately. I will see you all back at the pack house." " Yes alpha." They all said in unison.

Once we got to the pack hospital, they took Martha out in the gurney. They said that they had a special room already set up for her. I was glad that they did that because I can tell that they already love their Luna and will do anything for her.

Two weeks later

Martha has been in a coma for two weeks now and the doctor says that there are no signs of her waking up yet. It's really starting to hurt me that I can't see her all the time and hold her. I wonder how she will react once she wakes up. I doubt she thinks she will wake up, especially since the last thing she saw was Missy stabbing her in the abdomen. I just got out of a meeting with Alpha Mark of the Westwood pack. We are signing a treaty, so that our packs can become allies. On my way to my room my phone started ringing. I picked it up and saw it was a call from the doctor. "Hello, how is she?" I asked. "She's awaking so I suggest you try and get down here ASAP " doctor Michaelson said. " I'm on my way" I said with joy in my voice.

When I got to the room I told everyone to leave and let us be alone. I sat on the chair next to her bed and waited for her to wake up. I waited for ten minutes before I heard her moan in agony as she moved. As soon as she opened her eyes I said " Martha".......
