Zach woke a little after seven on Dani’s day off. He rolled over and wondered what she was doing. Probably sleeping. It was early and she’d never been a morning person when they’d been in school. He couldn’t imagine that had changed. He’d loved spending all week with Mark and seeing Dani every day since she’d let him start keeping their son.
