Zach looked around the park and wondered why Dani had wanted to meet here. There was a small sandy play area to one side with a jungle gym and slide and several tables at the other end. The entire park was less than half the size of a football field, meaning parents could sit at the tables and keep an eye on their kids, or even sit in the car and watch them play. He spotted someone sitting at one of the tables not far from the play area and thought it might be Dani so he headed in that direction.
A call from her had been the last thing he’d been expecting, and he wondered what it was she needed to talk to him about. As he approached, he saw it was Dani, she looked toward the play area with a content smile. He glanced in that direction but there were more than a dozen kids running around,
