The door didn’t seem to open, and Sorrel had not noticed another person however a feather had settled on the floor at the inner corridor corner. Sorrel straightened and proceeded into the building when he passed the corner he picked the feather up. It was smooth and glossy with a familiar look. Sorrel shook his head as he spotted two more men downed towards the back of the house. Sorrel paused as he realised that Kayad might not have noticed the layout of the building. The office appeared to be the most important part of the building and so should have an indicator of the ‘win’ condition. Yet Kayad bypassed the pool room that led to the office in favour of going around the building to deal with other people? No wait. Sorrel stepped into the pool room and then rolled across the floor promptly sticking himself to the underside of a pool table. He realised that Kayad had said his original goal had been to take everyone out. So rather than saying he missed the area it was entirely possible that he ignored it in favour of the scattered pickings. “you caught an arrogant brat from BPA? Ha, must be Alfair doing another practice session there are normally at least three of them so keep an eye out for the other two.” Throttle spoke into his phone as he came out of the office. Sorrel dropped his nature sight for a moment and glanced at the legs across the room from his position under the table. Moto was with him so Vinnie must have been the one to come out earlier. Satisfied that he knew what was going on Sorrel reactivated his nature sight with a mental sigh as he once again let the colours of the world fade.  “Hmm, you go out the front and do a sweep. Ill guard here since it is the only entrance to the office.” Throttle commented and Moto nodded before he headed out the door. Sorrel waited as Throttle shifted to be closer to the entrance with a clear sight to the windows. Which conveniently put the pool table behind him and offered Sorrel a clear entrance to the office. While Sorrel had waited Kayad had evidently been busy. More than half of the club members were out for the count. Right as Throttle’s phone rang Sorrel rolled out from under the table and slid into the office.  He glanced around the office and immediately found the dagger that Dr Alfair always carried. It was made of bone and carved with shadow piercing glyphs. It was really memorable. Sorrel grabbed the dagger and then slipped back into the main room. He rolled back under the pool table just before Throttle turned around to scan the room. Only five people remained from the group now.  Sorrel contemplated and then shrugged he’d technically one but didn’t have a way to tell Kayad so could call a halt without revealing himself. He had wanted to stay and visit and look around the club but now he’d seen most of the club and it wasn’t really all that interesting just another place. Not that different for Bloodied petal and Riven time save for the stench of alcohol and cigarettes. In fact, the scent was really off putting. So much so that combined with dealing with the views of moss and mould for so long Sorrel was just done with being here. He’d just have to take the advantage of the time off and give up on playing here. that thought in mind. Sorrel waited as Throttle paced a small circle around the room. When he walked past the side of the pool table Sorrel flicked out one of his needles into the gap between the top of his boots and his pants from where the leather had bunched up around the wider boot top. Throttle jerked and glanced down at his foot before promptly passing out.  Sorrel didn’t waste time. He’d prepared some of his needles for human dose’s but had not figured out who’d originally tampered with them, so he couldn’t be sure of the effective duration. As Sorrel rolled to his feet Kayad came into the room. Everyone else in the building was unconscious. Sorrel held up the dagger and said, “My win.” “EH, well since I didn’t stop, I’ll just have to owe you one.” Kayad shrugged as he walked overlooking the dagger over before he waved a hand for Sorrel to proceed him out. “Alright, I’ll remember the debt.” Sorrel chuckled. He hadn’t meant anything by it. His sight told him that everyone was alive, so it was fine. They left the building and went back to their bikes sending a photo to Dr Alfair as they went. When he confirmed they passed they high fived and slid onto there bikes. As they pulled into the BIRD to park, Sorrel stumbled his stop as he recalled something. “We forgot Blaine.” “Oops. Well, I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Kayad shrugged again as he steadied Sorrel. Sorrel debated but decided to listen to the voice of experience Kayad seemed to know Blaine well enough. Thus, Sorrel tossed the concern to the back of his mind when Kayad asked if he wanted to play a few rounds of monster hunter with him. Sorrel nodded then hurried to put his bike away. He completely overlooked the fact that Kayad tended to arbitrarily abandon his friends in favour of doing stuff with him. Let alone someone he was at best indifferent to.
