Chapter 4

The streets were so busy. This is the problem of big cities, they become so busy with life. They forget to live small happiness in life. Are we really happy with our busy life? Don’t you think we should consider the people who live around us to be happy and in peace? The children were playing happily. They looked so cute. Only a little makes them happy. Seeing them laughing I felt myself smiling too. How I wished my adopted parents were alive to see me grow into this beautiful young woman.

“Emma” someone called me from behind. I look behind to see it was none other than my dearest friend. The love of my life my only sister and friend Bella. She lives in my neighbor. I smiled widely when I saw her and greeted her, “hi, how are you?”

“I was waiting for you here come on let’s go together”. She offered. We kept talking how exciting it was going to be in the ceremony. As I was about to cross the road to walk towards the direction of the bus station to catch the bus, I started to run towards the street out of nowhere a car was coming towards me with full speed but before it could run over me, it stopped and luckily I was alive. Because of the sudden shock I fell to the ground hurting myself in the process.

My friend Bella immediately run towards me to help me get up from the ground. At first it was difficult for me to get up but the Bella’s help I got the courage and got up from the ground. I was pissed off beyond the word pissed. My temperature was rising with every step I took towards the car with anger.

The driver came out of the car. It looks like these rich people still has some humanity left in them. I thought the driver came out of the car to apologize but, “Miss, please step aside from the car, my lord has to leave immediately so please apologize to him carefully, so he will forgive you”.

What? What in the world……? His owner said that it was my fault that I wasted his precious time? How arrogant!

It’s not even my fault how dare he!

“How could you blame me! I didn’t come here to die! I just wanted to attend my graduation ceremony!” I was so angry and ready to fight anyone who will say that it was my mistake. What the hell! Am so damn pissed. The driver didn’t dare to contact his eyes in mine he just looked down.

What did I do wrong?

Shit! I don’t have time for this nonsense. We are getting late we need to move from here before I see red. I have a ceremony to celebrate. I noticed that my knee was also bleeding a little. Wow! Great! Just amazing! Everyone will mock me now for being stupid

“Come on let’s leave from here. They are too stupid to even apologize!”. I shouted at the car owner trying to make sure he hears me and at least feel embarrassed of himself.

Suddenly a hand came out of the car window, the car owner was indicating towards the driver to come close to him. The driver immediately bow respectfully and listened to what he had to say.

“Ohh my! What a manly personality! I want to marry him Emma”. Bella started to jump in happiness as I narrowed my eyes at her stupid behavior.

“Marry him! Seriously! Maybe he probably is a 70-year-old grandpa who is a king with 3 wives and 20 children”. I joked with her. She immediately made a cringe face, it made me laugh so hard. At least now I didn’t feel depressed by the accident. As we were about to leave. The driver run towards us to say something and immediately bow in respect. I was a little surprised by the change of his behavior.

“Miss, it was my fault please, forgive me I request you to get inside the car. My master wants to drop you to wherever you want to go”.

Huh! What is this all about? I was confused. They finally admitted their mistake that quickly. It made me more suspicious about the owner. Does he have some bad intention towards us?

Oh, God!! We should immediately run from here before something more tragic happens to me.

“No thanks! Tell your owner that he doesn’t own me, so I will never listen to him and we’re not going to sit in that car”. I turned around to leave. I never realized that a man got out of the car.

“You can tell me that yourself”. A very sexy and deep voice said from behind me. I turned around to see a man in his twenties No! A handsome man was standing right behind me. He was very gorgeous, really muscular and big. His whole body was filled with muscles which I would love to run my hands over them. He was wearing an expensive suit. At that very instant I became attracted to him. The first time ever in my life a whole me Emma Colton became attracted to a man a stranger. He walked majestically right in front of me, “maybe I do own you”. His voice was so deep and cold like iceberg I started to feel butterflies in my stomach which made me feel more nervous around him.

“What?” I asked him. What did he mean by that? I suddenly realized what he meant. He just said that he owned me. He doesn’t own me! How dare he!

I felt more angry towards the man in front of me . I wanted to slap him and say so many things to him but did not dare to look at him

“Emma, look how he is looking at you”. Bella whispered in my ear. He was insanely handsome and attractive but he had no manners as he kept looking up and down at my body hungrily as if he was ready to swallow me whole. Why is he looking at me like that he is making me feel more insecure.

He is eating me up with his eyes . The way he is staring at my body is making me want to hide myself.

I was biting my lower lip hard nervously his lusty eyes followed my actions. He slowly licked his soft pink lips making my eyes widen in surprise.

The way he was looking at my exposed neck then down to my exposed breast made me feel unknown sensation, I felt hot under his shameless gaze on my exposed skin. As I was about to open my mouth to teach him a good lesson, my friend stopped me

“Don’t you dare misbehave with him, Emma he is Damon Robertson. The famous, handsome multi- billionaire successful businessman man. I heard he traveled to China some months ago and he’s back, he literally owns the country don’t make him angry”. She whispered in my ear.

What! Damon Robertson! I know him. I mean I have heard his name my grandma always talks about him but I’ve never seen him in person. He is the king of this country.

“I will take you to your graduation ceremony”. He had this seduction tone in his voice which turned me on. Ohh No! What am I saying to myself? Is something wrong with me. There’s no way I was going with this man. It is too dangerous to be near him

“It’s alright, we will take the bus”. I tried to act brave in front of him. But the look in his eyes made me feel more intimidated by him. He was daring me to say another word against his wish.

“Let’s go!”. With that my Dearest and loyal friend betrayed me at that instant. She went to sit next to the driver waiting for me to get inside too. I can’t believe she was actually relaxed around this man and trusted him immediately. While he was staring at me, there was something in his eyes I can’t describe in words.

It scared me……
