I wanted to rip his head off, but the fact that Allegra was able to help us determine what was going on with the double bond, made me forget about it. After speaking for a minute, Iris and I walked out of the private room, only to see Davide leaning on the wall.
Iris made her way closer to him. I am certain she was feeling sorry for him. “I am sorry for the misunderstanding, Davide…” Iris said softly and he shrugged his shoulders,
“As usual, I will be second to him…” He said, his words laced with venom.
“Second? When did that happen? You were the one all over me while growing up… you were the one using me as a punching bag…” I said, bitterness dripping out of my words.
“Yeah, because you were the high and almighty Matei D´Angelo… too proud and special to be our friend…”
