Millie, Tristian, Eric, his K-9 Ace and Officer Robbins all gathered outside Audrey’s house. To random people it looked like four people and a dog were breaking into someone’s house. But of course that wasn’t the case only an i***t or if you were an elderly lady named Mrs Thompson would think that. I wasn’t saying Mrs Tomphson was stupid she was just way too damn perceptive.
Speak of the devil here she comes. Little old Mrs. Thompson walked down the sidewalk towards us with her walker. What are you younglings doing she said in her little old lady voice. We are just hiding out waiting for X to show up. Oh X she said her voice cracking a little. I haven’t seen him in a couple hours. I have been waiting for him to come around and hopefully catch him but I don’t think I’m able to do that. Wow you are like a one woman neighborhood watch Officer Robbins replied.
The old lady chuckled that I am and plus she’s got cameras around her house. The officer’s eyes widened and she had a camera. Sorry I meant only a ring camera on her front and back door, the old lady replied. Ok well that’s at least something Millie responded. Ok here’s the deal Eric you and Ace go search the area. Me and Tristan will Check the ring cameras finally officer Robbins you walk Mrs. Thompson home everyone got that Millie said in a commanding tone.
Yes Ma’am! The others said in union
Search Ace! Eric said in a firm voice to his K-9. Officer Robbins walked Mrs.Thompson home while Millie and Tristan searched the house and checked the ring cameras. Hey Millie! Tristan said calling out to her you might wanna come see this. Coming! Millie replied, rushing to Tristan. Someone knocked out the ring cameras. So he didn’t want us knowing anything interesting Millie said scratching her head.
Millie and Tristan stood up and resumed their search around Audrey’s house. Everything looked clean to clean. They searched for a few hours until Tristian found something. Millie gather the others and I found something! Ok! She replied running out to get Eric and Officer Robbins. A few minutes later she came upstairs with the others. There in Audrey’s closet was a trapdoor so either X or someone else was living in her house let alone hiding in her closet! X stalking Audrey was creepy enough. But now someone was living in her house and that was beyond creepy.
All of us realized that she had been in danger in her own home all along! That X person could have killed her in her sleep anytime any day and any place in her house. For all we know he could have kidnapped her and dragged her body to the woods or to the lake and drowned her and that thought scared us to the core. At least she was safe now at the hospital recovering. We all looked at the trapdoor. There was a lock with a key and oh my god did it reek down there. It was so bad that we would probably need a gas mask to go down there.
So again we searched the house for 2 hours. We searched everywhere: kitchen,bathroom, bedroom, outside Etc… Eric even had Ace dug up a few areas in the front and backyard, still nothing. So the key isn’t even around or in the house Eric said while petting and praising Ace saying he’s a good boy. Ace’s tail wagged. It brought some comfort to us in this terrifying situation. We should probably lock up and go to the hospital. Just as we were about to lock we heard a thud from the bathroom. Ace started barking aggressively.
And that’s when all hell broke loose…
