Chapter 50 – Walk Away
Derick entered the bedroom following the call from Baden. Upon entry, Derick had heard Gemma’s voice and the intimate positioning between them. Backing out the room instantly, “Sarah, this is your domain. Call me if you need me or are having trouble with anything.” Sarah still in the hallway crouching next to Ian who was clutching at his throat felt torn. If she went in, from what she had seen of Gemma, Baden would be asked to leave. The girl was almost beside herself. Encouraged away by Ian, Sarah walked back into the bedroom, Baden awkwardly laying on the edge of the bed, as he pulled sheets up to cover Gemma. Pulling the door closed behind her, she made a pleading look at Gemma to allow him to stay. Walking across the room, Sarah wheeled over a silver tray. Reminding Gemma of the table
