Chapter 15 - Brother

Alex walked nervously followed by his newly found mate into the office of Alpha Master who headed all the surrounding packs. When walking in he was not supposed to raise his head until he was kneeling in front of the pack master, however something shot towards him. Alex raised his head with no thoughts for the consequences, hearing her voice. His beautiful sister was racing towards him, his heart almost burst through his chest as he moved forward to claim her in his arms. Relief from the years of searching for her invaded his body, he gripped so tight worried that this could be a dream.

Alex inhaled deeply in her neck realizing her scent was mixed with the Alpha in front of them. She also had the smell of dirty and sweat, imagining her being kept in a cell similar to the ones at the old pack house, anger bloomed inside him. Gemma had burst out into tears in Alex’s arms with her head firmly placed on his chest.

Ian who had just let the couple in panicked with his eyes flickering to Baden watching his reaction, ready to protect Luna if Baden lost control. The mate of Alex who had just entered started growling ready to pounce on the Luna, and her new mate who were still locked in an intimate looking embrace.

Crack, Alex went flying through the office doors which were not closed completely into the back wall of the kitchen. Baden had ripped Gemma from his arms and now held his little princess to his chest protectively. The growls that left Baden jaws sent everyone in the vicinity, bar Gem and Alex who was already on the floor to their knees. “Mine”, he shouted.

“Baden stop!” Gemma screamed anxiety clouding her mind. She placed her hand on Baden’s chest getting his blood red eyes to settle on her. She whispered in a broken voice. “let him go he’s my..". Her words choked off as Baden tightened his hold on Gemma as she struggled in his arms making no progress towards freedom.

Finally recovering from being thrown into the wall Alex stood back up snarling at Baden, “give her to me, I’ll buy her." Alex’s mate was not impressed as she was starting to phase. Ian gripped her, holding her tightly to his body in an attempt to holt the transformation. By this point Zac had heard the commotion running into the door way, watching Baden he knew immediately that this man Alex was very unwelcome.

Baden was furious, buy he thought, he wants to buy my mate, my princess. “Never, she’s mine”, Baden roared. Zac moved to grab Alex by the throat, but Alex easily countered his move picking him up and throwing him across the kitchen like he was a pup before. Turning his attention back to Baden, his anger only rose watch his sister struggle in his embrace.

“If you hurt her, so help me I will rip you apart”. Alex shouted and shook with anger shifting in an instant as his red wolf stalked forward towards Baden baring its teeth. Baden was in the process of moving Gem from his chest to behind his body to protect her. When Alex lurched forward, with Baden’s other arm he punched the wolf square in the face sending it whining to the floor.

“Alex stop!” Gemma shrieked, “he’s my mate!”. Gemma was now clinging to Baden trying to get between the two men to protect him. Alex stood back up and snarled at the new piece of information. Being someone’s mate in their pack had never been a positive thing, not to mention all the horrific stories he had heard about the man who had his sister in his grasp. “Stop, I..I love him!” she screeched.
