Chapter 10 – Baden’s Fiancé

As soon as Baden left the Kitchen a woman approached Gemma. Long black hair flowed down her milky white skin, she had a pretty face ruined but her arrogant expression. “What are you doing here rogue? You don’t belong here” she hissed. A smile formed on Gemma’s face as she sarcastically offered, “I am Gemma, so lovely to meet you.. um what’s your name? b***h maybe?” Gemma offered helpfully.    

“I am Misty the next Luna, Baden’s fiancé”, she managed to say without faltering. A wicked smile crossed her lips. Gemma eyes turned black looking at the woman in front of her. A savage growl left her chest and the woman in front of her continued to smile. “Loosing your temper already you really got the wild animal down”. Her eye trained on Gemma’s neck and her smile started to dissipate, Gemma could only assume she had seem Baden’s mark on her body. A smirked covered Gemma’s face.

Before Gemma could respond, Baden’s strong arms banded around her from behind. “Calm down princess”. Baden’s loving tone paired with him kissing her head and rubbing her back had her back to reality in a few seconds flat. Noticing Baden’s change through the bond, Gemma looked up to see cold accusing eyes spear in the direction of Misty. “I catch you irritating my mate again and you can consider yourself banished, I don’t care who your father is” Baden spat the words. “Out” he commanded. 

“Oh my god you are gorgeous”, a squeal came from the direction Baden had come back from. “I am Sarah”, she took Gemma’s hands in her own ignoring Baden who glared at her warningly. Stroking Gemma’s hand while holding it she almost burst with energy, “what would you like to eat?”

Not having a clue how to react to this energetic red headed girl, “um anything is fine thank you”.

Sarah removed her hand from Gemma’s still smiling wildly, “how about some pancakes?” Gemma nodded eagerly. Baden slowly released his hold on Gemma as Sarah retreated to the other side of the kitchen bench starting to make breakfast. “Now get out Baden I want my mate back today so go do some work”. A growl left Baden. “Did you just growl at me, I will tell Ian and you can find yourself a new Beta”, Sarah suggested.

Baden placed his hand on Gemma’s shoulder linking to her mind for the first time. “My office is right next door, you come get me as soon as you finish”. Turning around on the swivel function of the stool Gemma leant her head forward coming in contact with Baden’s chest. Lifting her head with his thumb and index finger on her chin he swiftly kissed her lips, deciding the moment after to linger. He jetted his tongue in for one final taste before kissing her neck and turning to walk into his office.

“Wow”, you have him totally whipped Sarah laughed. Gemma’s face reddened as she turned to focus her attention on the beauty making her breakfast. Sinking her teeth into the apple she had previously taken Gemma’s tummy roared, her embarrassment as her eyes wide in shock at the noise. “Gosh did he feed you at all? you must be starving?”

“I had some fruit yesterday”, Gemma admitted. Sarah laughed indicating that was nowhere near enough and continued to scold Baden under her breath. “Are you not afraid of Bae..? Baden?”, she corrected herself not knowing if it was okay to use her new nick name for him in front of others.

“My husband is the Beta, so I can threaten all I want”. Sarah giggled, “without Ian, Baden would actually have to do some work which would mean less time with you”. Sarah placed down a plate full of pancakes in front of Gemma. “Now what do I call you, Luna? Princess?” Sarah giggled using Baden’s title for her.

“Gem will be fine”. Sarah smiled in response, the 2 girls hit it off eating and talking nonstop.

A roar of anger could be heard from the office followed by a crash and a smash. “Really again?” Sarah didn’t look startled but annoyed. “He breaks everything, go in and calm him down. He really needs to stop with this s**t”. Another crash sounded as every person who had been in the vicinity of the kitchen and office slinked away.

Sarah took Gemma by the shoulders and led her straight into Baden office. Gemma gasped when she entered the room, the desk was overturned, the television was destroyed and oh there goes the computer right into the wall next to her. Sarah let out a squeal as the computer smashed sending plastic flying at her and Gemma. Gemma pursed her lips looking up to find Baden standing there in utter shock and horror. “Oh my god did I hurt you?” Baden moved forward quickly checking Gemma over making sure she hadn’t got hurt by the plastic. Satisfied that Gemma was not injured, “I’m so sorry princess. You came in so suddenly, I, I..”.
