Chapter 47 - A mess.

I pushed the other guy who held his hands up and popped the door open. I’m the door swung back hitting me hard on my head.

“Holy f*ck! Are you ok?” Paul asked and I pushed him away again.

“Get away from me!” I snapped and he jumped back. I kicked the door and pushed myself out. I could hear yelling, but my head was feeling slightly dizzy.

“Come on.” I heard Sam’s soft voice as she helped me up. I finally started to see straight and I looked over at David holding Matt against the car. His fist c*cked and Will trying to pull him back.

“David no!” I yelled out before seeing him land his punch right against Matt’s chin. Will dragged David back.

“You have no right to be here!” I could hear David yelling.

“The police are on their way.” Tilly yelled and I watched Matt slump to the ground holding his face.

“Oh goddess Ryan, you’re already getting a knot.” Sam said looking at my face. I could only focus on what was going on. Soon another car pulled up and a couple of police looking people got out. Another car and then another pulled up. Soon there was separation and Sam was holding a ice pack to my head.

*David’s perspective.*

“You know I promised Garrett you would come next time.” I said and Will looked over.

“Audra doesn’t like hanging out with him because he gets too crazy when he’s drunk.” Will said and I laughed.

“That’s why it’s fun.” I said and pulled out my phone as it buzzed. I pulled it out and sat forward.

“What is it?” Will asked not taking his eyes off the road.

“Garrett. He’s there.” I said reading Garrett’s message that Matt was sitting in front of Ryan’s house.

“Who’s there?” Will asked.

“Ryan’s ex is there.” I said as a cold sweat flashed over me.

“We’re almost home, ten to fifteen minutes tops.” Will said slightly speeding up. I quickly typed back that we were on our way. The phone buzzed again.

“F*ck she’s insisting she goes and talks to him.” I said before typing out a message to stop her.

“Tell them to call the local authorities! It’ll finally give them something to do.” Will said with slight laugh.

“I’m glad you find this funny.” I said as we round the corner to the road home. Five minutes now. We were only five minuets away now. I watched everything around us whip by. I could hardly breath.

“Oh no.” I heard Will and looked out. I saw a glimpse of Ryan being shoved into a car. Garrett charged up yelling. Will came to a stop and I hoped out of the the car.

“What the f*ck are you doing!?” I said as the door popped open. Matt grabbed it and slammed it shut.

“I’m saving her from your cult! You have her brainwashed and I’m here to take her home!” Matt yelled. I grabbed him and shoved him against the car. I could feel my blood pumping through my body ready to transform and destroy him.

“Come on pretty boy! You want to go!? We’ll let Ryan see who’s stronger! F*ckin cult leader d**k!” Matt spewed our what ever he could.

“David no!” I heard Ryan’s faint voice.

“You don’t have the f*ckin balls!” Matt said lowly. Next thing I could see was Matt slumping to the ground.

“David that’s enough.” Will said as I struggled. A police car pulled up. Jake and Gab jumped out.

“What’s going on here?” Jake said getting between us.

“He tried to kidnap my mate.” I said low.

“He’s brainwashed my girlfriend!” Matt yelled. The officers looked between us.

“They broke up almost a month ago. She’s been with David since.” Sam said.

“Ok we’ll need to get statements and get that one in cuffs.” Jake pointed at Matt and Gab smiled. Then didn’t get to ever see much action. More cars started to pull up.

“There’s no way that George isn’t going to hear about this.” Will said.

“I don’t care how George feels. I was ready to murder that guy in front of everyone.” I said and Will nodded.

“Go check on Ryan.” Will said and I walked over. Sam held a ice pack to her head.

“I think she either needs the pack doctor or the hospital.” Sam said moving the pack. A large lump had formed on the side of her head.

“I’m just slightly dizzy.” Ryan said.

“No we need to see the doctor.” I said softly. Ryan nodded and I sat by her taking the ice pack. I gently held it. “Call Hunter. If one of you guys could go with her, I’ll be there as soon as the police let us leave.” I said and Sam nodded. She pulled out her phone and I loved the hair from Ryan’s face.

“I’m sorry.” Ryan whispered.

“For what?” I asked.

“For trying so desperately to prove I could take care of myself. The exact thing you said should happen happened.” A tear fell from her eye.

“It’s ok. We don’t need to talk about it now.” I said kissing her head.

“We’re going to go with her.” Angela and Sam said coming and taking her from me.

“Text me where you guys end up and I’ll be there when we’re done.” I said and Angela nodded. I waited to give my statement and watched as others gave theirs.

“What a mess.” Will said.

“Yep.” I said in response.

“George is on his way.” Will said and I stood.

“That’s my cue then.” I said holding out my hand. Will dropped the keys into my hand and I walked over getting into the car. It was off to the hospital.
