Chapter 48 - The hospital.

“Humans are TROUBLE!” I heard someone yell and my eyes opened. I was laying in a hospital bed. I looked around and saw shadows on the other side of the curtain.

“This isn’t her fault.” I know that was David’s voice.

“She is the reason it happen! She’s the reason there are any problems at all!” The other person was angry. The curtain flew open and I jumped. They both froze when they saw my eyes looking back at them. The man standing next to David was tall like William but muscular build like David. His shirt was almost too tight. As if in any moment it was going to rip off and he would still stand there like it was his plan all along. His tan skin and dark hair were a dead give away.

“You’re awake.” David said walking over to my bed side.

“Not for very long.” I said as my eyes still fixated on the man. “You must be George.” I said.

“Yes this is George.” David said and George looked uncomfortable.

“Well it’s true what I heard. You really do look like a god.” I said and my head suddenly pound. I grabbed my head and winced.

“I apologize for my outburst earlier. We’ve never had as much trouble as we have since you arrived.” George said in a struggled calm voice.

“It’s ok. I understand.” I said laying my head back.

“You do?” George looked at me confused.

“I’ve only been here a few weeks and caused you some grief with this whole debacle. You’re just trying to look out for the whole town.” I said with a sigh. George shifted and looked at David.

“I can see why you like her.” George said.

“I don’t think anyone has won over George so quickly.” David said.

“No one said anything about winning. I still feel there should be a rejection. If it’s work that you need, our father could put you in the accounting department there.” George said.

“No, that’s not happening.” David said quickly.

“Do it before you’re marked and it’s too late.” George said sternly.

“And when Dad hated Harmony and told you to reject her, what did you do?” David said.

“This isn’t about me. She’s a good leader! She’s the reason the schools run so well!” George argued.

“You went straight to her house and marked her. Dad almost drug you to Redmoon but who stopped him?” David asked and George looked upset.

“Mom did.” He said sadly.

“That’s right. Mom stood by your choice to love who you wanted to love.” David said.

“David, dad is going to take one look at her and tell you to reject her.” George said.

“Why? Why do you think that? Because she’s human? I doubt that.” David said. My head was killing me.

“Can you both argue this later. My head is pounding.” I said and the room got quiet.

“Yes I’m sorry.” David said kissing my hand.

“Harmony is looking forward to dinner on Monday.” George said.

“Is marking what it’s going to take to be as a serious couple?” I asked and David shook his head.

“No, the mate bond is enough for now.” David said.

“No, once you’re marked, everything is more permanent. Redmoon disbanded too so dad couldn’t make you go remove it.” George said.

“It didn’t disband. It merged with Greymoon. That’s why they call it Silvermoon now. Weren’t you just there for some party?” David asked.

“Yes.” George said looking slightly confused. “This reminds me I need to deal with Bradly when I get home.” George sighed.

“Wait, what happen after I left?” I asked.

“Your human boyfriend was arrested. They’re holding him right now.” George said.

“He’s not my boyfriend.” I said.

“He was adamant he was. He said you had been brainwashed and David was the leader of the cult.” George could hardly get through the sentence without laughing. David shook his head.

“I think he’s going crazy.” I said and David rubbed my hand.

“We’re going to put in for a restraining order. He’ll have no contact what so ever.” David said.

“This is going to be the only way, isn’t it?” I said.

“It’s going to be the best way.” David said. I looked at George.

“One human here is enough humans here. So we’re working on getting him transferred to a near by place.” George said with his arms crossed.

“What’s going to happen to him?” I asked.

“What ever the district court decides to do.” George said. A woman came in and looked around at everyone.

“How are you feeling Ms. Williams” she asked.

“My head is pounding but other then that I’m fine.” I said and she looked at David.

“Thankfully it’s just a mild concussion. The Doctor has some things for you both. Then we’ll talk about discharge and after care.” The nurse said before walking out.

“Oh good. I’ll just ride back with you guys.” George said walking over and sitting.

“Ok, I guess we’re all going to the same general area.” David said.

“I heard Dad was coming on Friday.” George said with a smile.

“What? Your dad is coming?” I said and my head pound again.

“Yes, dad is coming Friday. He wants to meet you and see Bradly.” David sighed.

“Ugh, that child. He made fun of the Fenrich kid.” George said.

“The Fenrich kid? You mean Barion Fenrich Jr? Isn’t he like five?” David said.

“He’s six. So I have to deal with that. Thankfully they took our apology very well.” George said.

“Well I would hope so. I would hate to make royalty mad.” David said.

“Royalty?” I asked.

“There’s a king alpha and a queen.” David said and I stared at him like he was crazy.

“The king now, much nicer then the last.” George said.

“Explain it to me later when I don’t have this massive headache.” I said with a sigh.
