Chapter 52 - Human, but perfect.

“Tell me everything.” David asked as we got ready for bed. We had spent a few moments cuddling on the couch when we got home so he could calm down.

“It doesn’t matter David. It matters you want me with you. That’s what matters to me.” I said and he sighed.

“Tell me Ryan.” He said and I sat on the bed.

“Well, it’s exactly as Will said. She told me about how hard it would be to have half breed children, that’s how Audra got roped into it. She told me how terrible your father was and how the Featherman’s were ruthless. Said I should get out while I still couldn’t feel the bond that strong. She offered to show me how to reject you.” I said and David nodded as he pulled his shirt on. He walked to the bed and got in.

“So how did you reply?” David asked.

“I told her as long as you wanted to be with me, nothing else mattered. I asked once we did the mark thing, if they would take it serious. Honestly, I don’t want you to think when it happens that I’m doing it because I’m proving a point.” I said and slowly looked at David.

“I wouldn’t think that, but we need to talk about it.” David said and I turned to him completely.

“Ok, let’s talk.” I said.

“Obviously I don’t want to pressure you. So please don’t take it that way.” David said slowly and I stayed silent. “The longer it is, the harder it becomes to control myself. I’ve done pretty well so far.” David said.

“So like at any moment you could just jump me and mark me?” I said somewhat confused.

“No.” David laughed. “No, when we’re in the moment it gets harder and harder. I worry sometimes I won’t be able to control it.” David seemed nervous.

“What do you suggest then?” I asked as I took his hand.

“I don’t want you to feel pressured. I want you to know I’m trying.” David said and I moved closer to him. I kissed his lips and he pushed forward. Our lips parted ways and I stared at him.

“I know how difficult this is. I’m sorry.” I said lightly rubbing his cheek.

“Why are you sorry? There’s nothing to be sorry for.” David said softly.

“Because it must be hard to be mates to a human. I feel like your family thinks I just cause problems.” I said back.

“Listen, the moon goddess chooses the best possibly mates when a mate bond happens. You’re my perfect mate. I don’t care if you’re human, because to me you’ll always be perfect.” David said and my eyes started to tear up. I pushed my lips to his once more and my heart started to beat faster. David pulled away and put his hand on my chest.

“When you feel that. That’s our bond growing stronger.” David smiled before kissing me again. I pushed forward and his arms wrapped around me. Soon I was in his lap as our kisses became passionate. He pulled back and looked at me.

“What?” I asked.

“I’m worried about your injury.” David said running his hand over my head.

“It’s fine really.” I said crashing my mouth back onto his. His hand pushed under my shirt. I started to grind my hips into him. He let out a groan as I felt him growing beneath me. He quickly pushed my shirt up and started kissing my chest. I grabbed my shirt pulling it off the rest of the way. I felt his tongue run over my n****e and I moaned. He wrapped a arm around me and moved over me. His other hand pulled my shorts off. He kissed my lips before moving down my body. I grew with anticipation as he got closer. Laying kisses from my stomach to my thighs. His hands running up and down my legs as he teasingly laid kisses up. Soon his mouth was on me. His tongue feeling my most intimate parts. I moaned out as my hand ran through his hair. I felt his fingers penetrate in slowly as his mouth worked. I tried to call for him but only moans and whimpers escaped my lips. His fingers moved faster and a warmth started to build to a fire in my abdomen. I squirmed as I reached my peak.

“David!” I called before the pleasure burst over me. I cried out and felt him move away from me. I opened my to see him undressing himself. With his pants down I could see how erect he was for me. He wasted no time crawling over me. His mouth was on mine. His kiss was eager and I almost couldn’t keep up. He moved my legs to fit between them. I reached down and guided him into me. He pushed in deep without breaking from our kiss. I broke free moaning out as he moved slowly. I looked into his eyes, darken with lust. He watched me for a moment before putting his lips back on mine. He moved faster and I could hardly contain myself I broke away again and David quickly moved to my neck. I moaned out as David laid kisses along my neck. I move to accommodate and David started running his tongue along my neck. David continued hard and I was about to let go.

“David, oh god.” I clenched onto him as my body let go once again. David continued until he found his release pushing deep into me. He sat there a moment. I closed my eyes breathing. Feeling his breath on my neck. I felt something graze along my neck and panic sunk in.

“David? David!” I said and he reached up covering my mouth. I pushed on him and he stayed still. I could still feel his breath on my neck. I grabbed at his hand trying to move it. David removed his hand. I pushed up and looked at him.

“Sorry. It takes a moment sometimes to…” David paused. “To well retract. You yelling my name was distracting from my concentration.” He said looking away.

“Im sorry. I wasn’t sure what was going on. Next time I won’t panic.” I said and he nodded.

“Hopefully there won’t be many more next times.” David said.

“We’ll see.” I said moving close to him and nuzzling his neck. His arms enveloped me and we laid together.
