*David’s perspective* “I’m here! I’m here!” I said as I entered the room. “What kept you! The meet was supposed to start a hour ago!” George yelled. “Sorry, I had to stop by the house and change.” I said as I sat down. Will and George exchanged a look. “He does smell like human.” George said making a disgusted face. “Yes because my girlfriend is a human. Remember?” I said matter if factly. “Girlfriend now? Certainly moving fast.” Will said. “Am I? You and Audra were marked by the third day.” I said. “But Audra is part werewolf remember?” Will said. “And part human might I add, George.” I said singling him out. “Ok David, I get it. How long is this going to last?” George asked. “Forever?” I said looking at him like he was a i***t. We stared at each other until Will broke the silence. “The meeting?” Will asked. “Yes, I just need signatures from both of you for the approval of the road construction. Harmony and I will be going out of town this week. Will as Beta you are in charge.” George said. “Of course. When do you leave?” Will asked signing the paper and handing it to me. “Tuesday. We will be back on Friday. Dad agreed to move the meeting to Saturday, since you both usually go. We need at least one of you here to watch the pack.” George said as I signed the paper. I slightly sighed. “What’s wrong with you?” Will asked. “Nothing.” I said. “He probably is thinking about how his human girlfriend has that day off.” George was right on the money. “Oh David, you have all week with her. It’s one day.” Will said. “I want to spend every moment with her.” I said and George laughed. “Soon word will spread and dad will find out you have a human here.” George said. “So?” I asked. “Once he marks her, there’s nothing he can do.” Will said. “When do you plan to tell her?” George asked. “Tell her what? About dad?” I asked confused. “About us David. About the pack.” Will said. “Well, before I mark her.” I said unsure how to answer. “She signed a privacy contract?” George asked. “Of course.” I said and they both sighed relief. “If she freaks out and leaves, make sure she takes a copy and reads the fine print.” Will said. “She’s not going to leave or freak out.” I said looking between them. “I thought most humans did?” George said. “That’s what dad always said. We can ask Audra. Her parents are mixed.” Will said. “Yes! Dinner tonight at Will’s and we’ll ask.” George said. He loved Audra’s cooking. “I don’t want to do dinner tonight! I’ll miss time with Ryan. We’re supposed to be growing our bond.” I almost whined. “Don’t you think this is important as well?” Will asked. “As your Alpha, I order you to be there.” George said. “Of course you would.” I sighed heavy. *Ryan’s perspective.* I spent most the day cleaning from the days before. My phone was silent for the first time in a long time. I was in the middle of vacuuming when I thought I heard a knock at the door. I turned off the vacuum to hear better and heard nothing. I started to vacuum again when I swear there was a knock. I turned the vacuum off and went to the door opening it. “Finally, I almost let myself in.” David said walking in. “Why didn’t you?” I asked as I closed the door and went back to the living room. “I don’t know, thought that would be weird.” David followed me. “I’m almost done.” I said grabbing the vacuum. “How about you’re done now.” David said walking over and putting his arms around my waist. I turned and looked at him. “It’ll only take a minute, Then we have the rest of the day.” I said pulling to kiss his cheek and then pat his chest. “Actually I have to leave in a couple hours. Dinner at Will’s and George has demanded I go.” David was annoyed. “Demanded? You just have to listen for what reason?” I asked. “Because he’s… in charge?” David said and I stared at him. “You’re joking right?” I asked and he shook his head. “So it’s because he’s the mayor or because he’s older? What is it that give him that much authority over you?” I asked and David stared at me. “Well?” I asked. “He’s in charge. I don’t know how to explain it. Will and I have to listen. The only one able to say anything and have him listen is my father and rarely does he come to town.” David said and I must’ve been looking at him with confusion. “Or do you want to come with me?” David smiled. “Meet your all powerful mayor brother that has control over you by just saying so? I think I’ll pass.” I said and David laughed. “He doesn’t have complete control. Just when it comes to pack business.” David said and I looked at him confused. “Pack business?” I asked. “Oh, it’s a term the town uses for meetings and stuff.” David said almost nervously. “God you’re so weird sometimes.” I said walking past him. “Remind me why I decided to be your girlfriend.” I teased. “Because you like I’m weird and mysterious.” David said wrapping his arms around me once more. “I love hearing you say that.” David whispered in my ear before he kissed my cheek. “That you’re weird?” I slightly laughed. “That you’re my girlfriend.” He laughed as I turn to him. “Are you going to work it into most phrases now? Like a extra does of serotonin?” I asked and he looked lost in thought. “Yes!” He smiled. “Such a goof ball.” I said rubbing his chest while looking at him. He lean down kissing my lips and feeling my hips. “Ok, let’s go.” David pulled me towards the stairs.
