Liams's POV
I was hoping to see Rosie before the ball actually started. Her mother and father reassured me that she was fine just running behind. I got this odd feeling that they were lying to me and I f*****g hated it.
Sam gave me my own room to get ready, and once I was dressed in my tux, I headed down to the ballroom.
I was shocked to see how packed it was so early. I was greeted by multiple alphas all asking about my father and the pack. After some small talk, they all congratulated me on taking over as alpha. Part of me felt like it was a little inappropriate since I only took over because of my father's condition. I think I may feel a little guilty over it.
Mia couldn't stand still. She was pacing all over the ballroom, which was making me that much more anxious about seeing Ros
