Liam's POV
I've been traveling back and forth between Rosie's pack, mine, and Lex's. Last week, they finally burned down Lex's pack house, and I've been traveling between just the two with Mia. I was able to avoid the council until about a week ago. The questions were brutal, but they didn't physically harm me this time around, and I think it's because of Tinley. She's basically trained me what to say and what not to say and to control my emotions. They will try to use that against me if I lose control. She said I handled things well, but I should continue to try to avoid them as much as possible.
It hasn't been easy keeping myself and wolf together. Rosie's absence has affected me in more ways than I ever imagined. My heart longs for her, and it's taken everything in me not to hunt her
