Prologue - The Dream

*The bright light from the full moon guided his footsteps through the forest. Not that Keller needed the light, for he could see perfectly in the blackest of nights. Still he couldn’t help but think how beautiful the moon was on this night. On Keller trod towards the lonely graveyard, deep in the forest long forgotten. There was a big old oak tree that sat in the heart of the graveyard. Keller had never been to this graveyard, yet he knew every detail perfectly. His want to sit beneath that old oak and look out over the forgotten graves seemed so natural like he had been doing it for years. When he arrived at the graveyard he was surprised by an unfamiliar sight. Long big black wings stretched out before him with a girl in the middle. Her wings are so beautiful, he thought, how he longed to reach out and touch them. “Who are you? What are you doing, way out here?” Keller called out to the girl. The girl not alarmed by his arrival simply looked over at him and slowly smiled a sweet smile. “I have come for you Keller. It is time you learned the truth of your past. As well as the path destiny has chosen for your future.” She said, “You are a very special boy.” Keller took a step back, shocked she knew his name. He turned on his heel and started to run back into the forest heading for the safety of his home. With a quick flap of her wings she launched into the air with a whoosh and soared above his head, stopping in front of him cutting off his escape.  “You cannot run from me Keller. You cannot run from your past or your destiny. I will find you no matter where you run or try to hide.” She said in a booming voice. *
