Unwanted mate

Not hungry anymore

    I suddenly did not want to eat anymore , I felt my face getting hot for like the 500th time in the the last 3 days , I decided the best thing to do was to ignore them even though it seemed like they had other plans for whatever reason they asked the waitress to get the booth right behind us . I focused more intently on my menu just so that I could ignore the situation and Eleanor and my sisters looks that they were giving me .Thankfully Eleanor decided not to bring up the fact that Hayden had made a point to take the side facing me . " so Tina I saw that you were having a pretty intense conversation with Zeb at the party last night , what were you guys talking about anyways ? I also saw that Nick was watching you when you guys were talking "  I was super thankful that she had come up with a topic that had nothing to do with the people behind us, and even Alexis perked up at the mention of Nick, Nick happens to be one of the other hottest guys at school and really close friends with Roger and Zeb, 

Nick had pitch black eyes hair that he always looked messy but intentionally messy not like he had not brushed it or anything  , grey/ silver eyes that were framed with  a insane amount of thick black lashes making it look almost like he had eyeliner on, he also had a gorgeous smile and deep dimples in both cheeks. Nick was one of the few guys who had never gone out of his way to be nasty or mean to me but he also had never been nice to me or made any effort to actually talk to me at all . 

    Amy had looked up at the mention of me talking to Zeb , " umm yea I talked to Zeb last night I was trying to see or get. some information for you Amy anyways Zeb was saying something  about him being frustrated that he had been asking you out for awhile and you always said no to him, apparently he knows that you have decided that you like him or have been trying to talk to him, I guess he is wanting you to make the effort that he had or claims that he has been making with you" I raised my eyebrows questioningly at my sister as she frowned her cheeks were kind of flushed and she was not sure what she should say to that. " yea well , I mean its not my fault that he always acted like it was a joke when he would asking me out, how the heck was  I supposed to know that he was serious , you know how they are , " she looked at them pleading with her eyes to understand why she would have never given him the time of day before. Eleanor just rolled her eyes and gave her a look almost saying that she thought that Amy has just been a brat and she should not have expected that she could string Zeb along. I was thinking the same thing .

    I was trying to focus on the conversation but kept getting distracted by Hayden and Ashley who were whispering and looking in their direction, I started to chew on my finger nails a nervous habit that I have had since i was little . Amy cleared her throat and was looking at me like I had just missed some important question that had been asked , " oh sorry. " I tried to refocus on the conversation that they had been having , As I focused on what Eleanor was saying about Roger and her wanting us to all go to the party that he was going to be having , as kind of a celebration . for whatever reason I had no idea about this celebration party , but as I thought about it some more it really would have made more sense that I had no clue what the heck was going on in my cousins life, after all I had been doing my best to avoid my cousin and all of his friends and even my sister to be honest . the more I thought about it the stranger it seemed that we had gone to pretending we had no relationship at all to randomly hanging out and talking about boys . 

Eleanor was looking at me like I had tuned out of what she had been saying again and had started to look a little annoyed that I was not paying attention, " I am sorry El , I am just a little out of it " I could not help but to glance over at at Hayden and Ashley as I said it . just then our waitress came out with our food ,  I really did not want to eat in front of Ashley , I just kind of poked at my food ignoring my stomach growling at me in protest and Alexis deciding at that moment to start complaining that we needed to eat and get super cranky that I was refusing . Amy and Eleanor were both digging into their meals and the smell was making my stomach growl more persistently   , I was almost more embarrassed with the amount of noise that my stomach was making then eating and risking Ashley and Hayden making some sort of snarky comment. 

Amy was looking like she was thinking about something , " hey so what do you think I should do about Zeb , I really have no idea how to get him to know that I am serious that I really do like him and i really want to get to know him" she was looking completely lost of what she needed to do in this situation, I was starting to feel a little bad for her, she was so used to having guys throw themselves at her that she has no idea on what to do when there was a guy that was not as willing to give her whatever she wanted or was not as willing to be toyed with as the other guys that she was used to. " that what I was kind of talking about Amy, I was kind of thinking that Roger's party was going to be the best place for us to kind make a statement in front of everyone that is going to be at the party." Eleanor put her hand up to stop me before I could even say what I was thinking before continuing her thought, " ok I know the party last night did not go well at all. for you at least Tina, but think about it , this is your chance to have your plan of getting in shape and showing everyone how much more amazing  you will look more then you already do anyways , and it will give Amy a chance to work on Zeb and her chance to show him that she actually likes him and it is not just her trying to get every guy that she can" Amy scrunched up her face and looked a little pissed at Eleanor at that comment, " and I , can see if Roger is actually a nice guy , anyways the party is going to be in 6 months so more then enough time for us to actually be working on our plan. " she finished , 

    It was not really that crazy of a plan if you  thought about it really . werewolves had a faster metabolism then normal humans so that would be enough time for some of or a lot of my weight to have come off . " so are you guys willing to helping me with my plan to actually get into shape , I don't want to go to this party and have it be the same thing as last night with Ashley and Hayden."  I knew that I was going to actually make sure that if I was going to go to this party I wanted to make sure that I was not going to be the one who left feeling bad. Amy immediately jumped in the conversation. " of course I think we are all going to have to help each other, obviously we can do some of the conditioning that we do for cheer leading and I can keep a eye on Roger for you Eleanor, if you both can try to talk more to Zeb for me ".   Amy looked excited about this idea, "alright then, we have a plan" I said with a smile. of course at this moment as I glanced at the both where Ashley and Hayden were sitting only to see them kissing and and my heart dropped , but this also just made me more determined to make this plan work.
