Unwanted mate

The after party

The ride home took no time at all. I was starving and my head was spinning from the drink that I had at the party , when we pulled up my house I thanked my uber driver and stumbled out of the car , feeling a little woozy . once I reached the front door my phone dinged letting me know I had a text . 

Eleanor : Hey where did you go?

Me : home 

Eleanor : what?! why ?? 

Me: Hmmm, I don't even want to talk about it right now 

Eleanor: Are you ok?

Me: Yea I am fine , don't want to talk about it right now though , I just want to go to sleep, I definitely want to know how everything went with Roger though

Eleanor : Ok , I have a feeling that I want to know what happened and why the heck you are already home when it is only 11. what do you think about getting breakfast tomorrow and we can talk

Me: yea that sounds good, be safe ok? I'll see you tomorrow 

    I shoved my phone back into my pocket and unlocked the front door walking into the dark house , of course our parents were not home, they were never home they never really wanted to act like they had kids and they only expected that we raised ourselves me and Amy really did not care, our parents were not the best even when they were around , I decided that since no one was home I was going to turn on the TV and look up the best diets that would help me lose weight as well as the best hiking trails in the area and what the reviews were in the area , after looking up a few different trails I printed out the maps and then  decided that I was going to go on sss to look at some workout cloths and hiking boots .

    After doing so shopping and ordering some boots and a few pairs of leggings I focused on some weight loss websites and tried to find the best rated diets or dieting plans , I was really not sure if it was ok to diet when you were a werewolf or not but I figured after looking at the different types of diet plans the best option for me would be to try the Keto diet as well as intermittent fasting and see how that went, at least on Keto I could still eat meat and high fat items and some how manage to lose some weight , after looking up some different recipes my stomach started to growl getting hungry from looking at the different types of food . I glanced at the clock on the TV and saw that it was already 1230 in the morning and Amy was not home and she had not even texted me to say anything at all about where she was or even asking where I was , after a few minutes I started flipping through the channels looking to see if there was anything good on while I was getting kind of sleepy and just wanted something to zone out , I pulled a blanket from the back of the couch and snuggled down to watch The Conjuring : The Devil Made Me do it . before I knew it I was waking up to the smell of coffee and Amy sitting on the end of the couch flipping through the channels .

    Amy glanced at me and gave me a small smile holding her cup of coffee she looked like she had a rough night she had eyeliner and mascara smudged around her eyes as well as mascara on her cheeks like she had cried and it had smudged on her face,  " hey " I greeted her.  "hey" she responded back, " you left the party super early yesterday what happened " the embarrassment of the memory flooded back to me and  I cringed at the thought " ugg too early to talk about it, I told Eleanor I would meet her for breakfast and we would talk about everything, and I found some cool hiking trails that I wanted to try out if you are in the mood to join us" I said squinting half expecting her to laugh in my face for suggesting that she would want to hangout with us. Amy looked at me and I could tell that she was considering my offer and trying to decide if she was wanting to hangout with us . after a few minutes she responded sounding almost a little nervous " yea, that actually sounds like a good time and I really wanted to talk about last night to you guys to see what you were thinking too, if that's ok with you guys " she added quickly , I was a little amused at the change of advents , " yea that's fine, that's why I invited you to come, I have to take a shower and get dressed" I said standing up and stretching I cracked my back and headed into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee , after pulling my Friday the 13th mug I filled it most of the way with the delicious smelling coffee and filled the rest with coffee creamer .  Amy followed me into the kitchen and poured herself a second cup of coffee before walking into the hall to head into her room I assumed to get ready to go. " hey so I will be ready in like 30 minutes is that going be ok?" she called from her room. I was kind of doubtful that she was going to be ready in 30 minutes but decided to just agree that it was good enough, 

    I sent a quick text to Eleanor asking where she wanted to go and eat and let her know that we were probably going to be 45 minutes before we headed out . Eleanor sent a text pretty quickly letting me know that she was thinking about going to Ihop and 45 seemed good to her , I found a pair of boyfriend jeans and a slouchy sweater in my drawer and hopped into the shower. once i got out I looked at myself in the mirror and decided that the dark circles under my eyes really could use some concealer and some lip gloss to make myself look a little more presentable , I pulled a brush through my hair pulled on my clothes and wondered into Amy's room to see if I could use her concealer , i really needed to get some of my own makeup.  walking into her room I was surprised to see that she was actually ready to go, she had pulled her hair into two french braids and was wearing a blue sweatshirt and jeans she had also put on some mascara and lip gloss, " hey can I use your concealer so that I can try to get rid  of these bags from under my eyes" I asked my sister, "yea of course , you know we really should go to the makeup store and get you some of your own stuff to use " she replied . "great" I gave her a smile and took the concealer. " hey so we were going to go to Ihop if we should probably  leave in a few minutes " I added walking out of the room . "ok. I'll grab my phone and we can go." she answered . 

    I walked back into the kitchen and made sure that the coffee maker was turned off and waited for my sister to be ready to go. a few minutes later Amy walked out of her room and they head out to the car ,my stomach was growling and I was already getting nervous about starting the Keto diet, I had already looked up the Ihop menu to see if they offered Keto options and I was kind of nervous about bringing up my plan for dieting and excising, I was also wanting to talk to Amy about getting a treadmill for the house. I knew that if Amy asked our parents to buy it for her then they would but for whatever reason if I asked they they would have flat out told me no, even though I was the one who needed to lose weight, it was just part of the clan not supporting me , it is definitely discouraging that everyone even the adults were willing to go along with the younger pack members turning their backs on me for not fitting the "werewolf standard"  I was picking my fingers as we were on our way to the restaurant as we pull up I started to get the strange feeling again which put me on high  alert.

    I spotted Eleanor standing at the door waiting for us as we climbed out of Amy's car, I did not see anything that would explain the odd feeling so i decided to ignore it and join Eleanor so we could go in and eat. Eleanor spotted us and waved happily which made me feel a lot better that she did not seem upset  at all by anything that could have been going on. We walked up to Eleanor and I gave her a quick hug which was really not my thing to do but I figured since I had kind of ditched her last night I might as well try to make her feel better. " hey guys , I already gave my name and on the list for a table" she said as she greeted us. " great at least that means we will not have to wait that long hopefully , I am kind of hungry "  I said with a laugh. 

    we were seated in a booth towards the back of the restaurant and we ordered coffee's and all started looking at the menus from what I could figure the omelets were the closest to Keto as they had so I decided to order a Bacon Temptation Omelet with just coffee as my drink,  Eleanor ordered double blueberry pancakes and Amy ordered Swedish Crepes as we were waiting for our food I decided it was the best time to ask Amy and Eleanor what had happened at the party after I had left . " hey so what did you guys end up doing last night I know you guys know that I ended up leaving but I am super curious what exactly happened" I was curious and also trying to avoid talking about my experience . Eleanor was glowing  so I assumed that it was only good things that happened with her and Roger. 

    Just as I was about to ask exactly what had happens I got the same strange feeling and was getting a little uncomfortable just because that feeling had only stated to happen the times that Hayden had showed up, but I had been looking in the parking-lot to see if I had spotted the Jeep that he had been driving and it was not there, there had been a BMW SUV but there were always BMW's around so that was not really out place , I started to get a little ancey in the booth and was looking around the restaurant to see if I could see anything that would randomly make me feel that way. I was about to mention my odd feeling to Eleanor and Amy when I turned and saw that Eleanor's eyes had gotten huge as she looked towards the front of the restaurant . turning to see what she was staring at my heart sank as i saw Hayden and Ashley walk in the front door with their arms wrapped around each other and a handful of Ashley's friends Hayden met my eyes and smirked.
