Unwanted mate

Inside voices please

    I spun around in a circle , what the hell who the hell is that, I mean I know that voice it is so familiar but honestly I have no clue who it belongs to, I have never actually met the person that the voice belongs to , I looked around to see if I could spot the person who was talking , but I was still sure that they were not talking to me . I seriously can not believe that you still have not figured this out yet, you are supposed to be a werewolf , well looking at you I would not really think werewolf maybe related to some other creature but not werewolf  the voice said in a super snarky tone . wow I thought looking around to whoever was being such a jerk, just then Eleanor walked back over and sat next to me again, " hey," she said giving me a smile "hey" I said smiling back . " So I am sorry about calling you tiny earlier and I am sorry Roger apparently can not figure out how to not be a jerk to you" she said looking like she was worried I was going to be upset with her. I appreciated that she took the time to apologize even though she really did not have to. I gave her a reassuring smile " really it is ok, I know you were not trying to be rude or anything , " just then the ref blew his whistle and the Drakes team took to the field and into their formation or whatever you call it .  a few minutes later our team ran onto the field as well, from what i could figure out it looked like we were going to be I guess attacking or going to score, I seriously have no clue about football.

    They are going on the offense dummy, jeez you would think that if you are going to go to these kinds of things you would have made the effort to look up the basics of the game. I jumped startled that the voice was so close and i could hear it super clearly considering how loud it was in the stands. dummy seriously you still have not figured out who I am yet? , just then I heard a growl in m head , oh s**it dawning crashing into me . ummmm hello ? I asked in my head yea yea , I already said hello, remember? the voice responded, I was still a little freaked out from the voice that no one else seemed to hear . "hey Eleanor have you ever talked to your wolf before?" I asked her she looked at me a minute before answering " umm , no not yet, I've heard that some wolves will not start to connect or make themselves known until you are about the shift for the first time" she looked a little concerned. " have you talked to your's yet?" she asked. I as a little nervous talking about the voice that I was hearing I did not want her to think that I was crazy or something . Ummm excuse you. you are not crazy obviously , I am Izzy and actually I have been trying to get you to hear me for awhile you know.  hi I answered the voice in my head, so you are saying that you are  my wolf then? yup that would be me the one and only . ok then why exactly have you left me alone when I could have used someone to talk to. yea I was excited that my wolf finally decided to show up but  I was also hurt that our wolves were supposed to be apart of us and my wolf for whatever reason had never made a effort to comfort me or keep me company when I really needed her . I looked at Eleanor who was still waiting for me to answer her question . " umm well apparently my wolf's name is Alexis and has just decided to show up in the last 5 minutes, helpful right?" I said  rolling my eyes , "when is your birthday again El?" ummm she glanced down at the field it looked like the game was going to start pretty soon. "its actually in 3 weeks , October 3rd remember? its like 2 weeks before yours and Amy's " she looked like she might cry, " hey don't  worry El I am sure if Alexis decided that she was going to start talking to me your wolf will start talking to you soon too" after all this time I thought that there was something wrong with me but maybe most people did not actually start talking to their wolves until closer to when they changed for the first time

    , I mean it's not like I really had anyone to talk to about this kind of stuff with before , so really I had no idea what was normal and what is not. a cheer from the crowed jerked me out of my thoughts once again and i looked at the field to see that they had started the game, Haden had the ball and was running down the field dodging our huge fullbacks , my heart was pounding both out of nerves for him and the worry that he was going to get hurt if he was tackled but also the adrenalin rush from watching the game itself. down on the sidelines my sister and the other cheerleaders where preforming some sort of hype up the crowed cheer and of course Ashley and Cassey were up in the first few rows as close to the football players as they could get without being on the field itself. " so here is my thought El , maybe everyone just says they bond with their wolves before they change because they think that they should bond earlier then we actually do,  I am pretty sure alphas bond sooner then everyone else but if you still haven't started talking to your wolf and Alexis just showed up today I wonder if Amy has started talking to her wolf yet " i finished trailing off  as Haden was tackled by Zeb, neither of them were getting up yet and my heart was in my throat. 

you know you are right ? he really is handsome and I really like  Liam too, we need to get close to them Tina I know you can smell how yummy he is right ?  wait what ??? who the heck is Liam? Liam is Haden's wolf and I like him so you better not mess this up Alexis sounded annoyed and I could see her eyes glow in my mind, it was super freaky having a whole other person well voice in your head all of the sudden most of the time for humans anyways this would be cause for alarm and time to get some help . Looking back to the field Zeb still had not gotten to his feet and Amy looked like she was about to have a panic attack , she had rushed out on the field and was holding his limp hand , Haden on the other hand was up and rubbing his head, Roger was looking pissed like it was some how Hadens fault that Zeb was still on the ground ,
