Enchanting Resistance

Chapter1

"Sky! Wake up!" yelled my system.

He likes to call me Sky, "Hi I'm Skylar West, I can't remember much about my past life. It was said I died from a car crash, but with no memories I can't confirm this. I became a Host about half a year ago and my new life has been going pretty smoothly so far. Most of the missions I have been on were successful, and there were some fails as well. I would like to explain some more, but there is a new mission waiting for me. Ah! Right, I almost forgot. You were probably wondering why my system was calling out my name so loudly. Well, long story short, I did something stupid again."

"Sky! Wake up!" "Wake up! Sky!" two different voices called out, one in my mind, the other more physical.

"Hm," I woke up with a headache, "Where am I" I thought, blinking a few times.

"What were you thinking!!" Gabriel yelled, tears rolling down his cheek as he wrapped his arms around me. He buried his head in my shoulders crying and said "Don't scare me like that ever again and do not try that again. I thought I had lost you."

I raised my hands to hug him and stroked his back with the other, "Sorry". We stayed in that position for a while.

"Are you hurt anywhere...?"

I shook my head. "No, I am alright."

"Then why is there..." he got up and looked at my face. Shortly after, he moved away in shock and immediately said worriedly "Skylar, we need to take you to a hospital."

He never called me by my full name. Confused, I asked why.
