William's POV
I stood up from the grass and looked up at Jessie from the broken classroom window. "Jump," I directed to her.
She shook her head. "I'll catch you," I said. I extended my arms.
She slowly got up the shelf and then jumped out the broken window.
She jumped into my arms and I held on to her tightly.
"I told you I'd catch you," I told her.
She smiled at me and buried her head into my chest. Once I started walking towards the woods, I felt her slowly breathing and knew she fell asleep.
When I made it to my house, I jumped through the dungeon window and set Jessie down on the ground next to her wall. I chained her up and then chained myself up.
