I lay in bed the next morning staring up at my ceiling. I didn't want to go to school anymore. The boy managed to change my world upside down in just one day. I heard a light knock on my door then the voice of my dad, "Can I come in?" He asked. I sighed, "Yeah." The door parted open slowly and my dad peered out. He walked over to the corner of the bed and sighed. "I know this is going to sound a bit unnatural, I didn't tell you sooner, but... No. I can't do this." He stormed out. I was utterly confused as I sat up and watched my dad storm out the room. I didnt want to do anything today. I wanted to forget everything. I snuggled back in the covers . ******************** WILLIAMS POV I walked into the kitchen to grab a glass of water to calm me down and I pulled out my phone to call a pack doctor. "Hello? Yes, this is Alpha William from the West RiverSide Pack, I was calling to tell you to come over and check on my mate..." I used a professional tone. He was aware and said he'd be here soon. After minutes passed, I walked up the stairs and into the guest room Roseanne put Jessie in. I slowly opened the door to see her breathing in and out in a deep sleep. I sat in a chair next to the bed, and waited for the pack doctor. The guest room was familiar but I don't remember what my purpose was in being here. There was a knock at the door and the pack doctor walked in and nodded his head in respect. I shook hands with him and shifted my hand to present my passed out mate on the bed. "Jessie, Im going to let a doctor check you right now sweetheart." I whispered. I knew she wouldn't like her nickname. She shifted and murmured a few words. Her eyes fluttered a little in difficulty. The doctor took out a flashlight and directed it into her eyes and asked her a question. When I heard her voice reply, it felt like I haven't heard her in ages. The doctor told me she was okay but I missed what he said next as I was looking at her. I walked over and the doctor left. Her face was unmoving and her eyes were locked in with mine. Her cheeks turned red after holding in her breath. "I like the way you breathe slowly. You take puff by puff. I could hear you, like you're breathing right into my ear.." I whispered. I looked closely at her. She was confused, and I could tell. "I see how you react when you're creeped out or confused. Your eyebrows crinkle and your nose goes up with the crinkles." I said. "You love dressing like a rebel. Black and blue, your favorite colors." I added. She stopped staring and looked around the room. "I like how I see the red heels on the floor." She looked at the table, "I like how there are diamond earrings on the table." She looked at the chair, "Lace panties, how cute. Who's are they?" She asked. I stiffened. Every memory came back to me. Brianna. "I like how you didn't hide your evidence. I like how you're so confused right now. Aw, don't get me wrong but how stupid could you get?" She raised her voice. I also looked around the room, "Its not what it looks like. I mean, Jessie I-I." I stuttered because honestly, it does look like something happened in here. She got up from the bed and I didn't want her to loose her balance. I knew her brain was just fuzzy right now. She probably had pounding headaches. I settled my hands around her hips and she screamed at me to let her go. I didnt want to. After she clawed at my fingers, I let go due to the pain she was causing. She held on to the bedside table and looked down. "Oh yeah, because I would've never noticed the bra on the floor when I got up.." She spat. I was furious because she didnt want my help and was disrespecting me. "Get back to bed now." I demanded. My wolf was going crazy and about to rise to the surface. She laughed and pointed at me, "Yeah, because I definitely want to stay here any longer with you." She walked out the door and I punched the wall. I left a huge hole and the wall pieces went crumbling. I followed her. When I walked out the door, behind her I noticed that she only had my shirt on. I didn't want anyone looking at her! I don't care who it was. I grabbed her hips and threw her over my shoulder. It was the only way I could keep her from running away from me once again. She pounded into my back. I wasn't feeling a thing. "Oh my god! Leave me alone!" She cried out and pounded on my back more. I snorted, "You have no pants on. I won't let any girl of mine to walk around like that. Do you know how pissed off I get?" I gripped her thigh harder. "Don't touch me!" She yelled. "I would've walked around naked, I don't care! Let guys see me, I just want to leave!" She demanded. I kicked open a door. "Yours? Psh Im not anyone's Mr. Im-Too-Good-For-Anyone!" She exclaimed. I kept walking. "If you don't let me go right now, my parents will kill me. Don't even get me started on my Dad. He will kick your ass!" I laughed harder, "He won't do anything," I said. He really wouldn't. He knew I would destroy him. "Im so getting a restraining order on you!" She yelled. I put her down and she gained balance. I watched her look around the room. She whined and every muscle in my body stopped moving. Then she spoke, "I just want to go to bed. Im so tired. Can you please leave?" I was surprised at her sudden mood change. I patted the chair next to me and said, "I can sleep here too." I looked back at her, and she ran and jumped into the bed conformably. I was baffled because she didn't even want to be in my presence or in this house. I looked at her as she got under the covers comfortably. It's too hot for that. She looked at the bathroom door and got off the bed and walked towards it. "What are you doing?" I asked. My voice almost a whisper. "A girl has to pee, doesn't she?" She said. True. I sat on the couch. I'll wait until she gets out. After a few minutes, all I heard was nothing. I walked over to the door and knocked, "Jessie. Are you okay?" I heard the flush of a toilet then the rush of water from the sink. Maybe she did more than peeing. I sat on the edge of the bed. Then I heard the sound of a creak coming in from the bathroom. She better not be doing something silly in there. "Jessie? It doesn't take forever to wash your hands." I said. No answer. I pounded on the door. "Get out now! Don't make me break this door down." When she didnt answer, I stepped back and with one hand I pounded it into the door and it went flying out from its hinges. I looked up and saw Jessie escaping from the window. Escaping from me? Oh hell no.
